We had a really great time at the HR show. I think the Guys like playing here as much as we like having them. After a long spell of missing these shows and being totally focused on Butter I am freshly revived by this New, New Monsoon. The "kids" bring a new energy to the band and Shawn is off the hook talented. Once Marshall and Shawn really start mastering the songs, their exploration as a band will grow and blossom as it has with every line-up change. It sounds as if this line-up is solid though and we're hoping for these two stick around for awhile.
Thank You New Monsoon for reviving the rock and roller inside of me.

Re: Revived by Monsoon
Mon, April 28, 2008 - 6:50 PMHell yeah!
I caught all four nights in a row. (Seattle, Bend, Hood River and Ashland) The band is smokin'. As scary as major changes can be to a band that you love, I gotta admit that the current lineup is really incredible. Excelent fit together. Super, super fun!! -

Thu, May 1, 2008 - 3:03 AMI totally agree....Sean is insane...and Marshall is solid, getting better each show....Sean and Marshall are developing great band chemistry.
I just listened to the old settlers show; f#cking sick....copper mine, best version I've ever heard. memory of elizabeth reed, incredible.
I can't wait to see them this summer!
