Re: Moab??
Sun, May 11, 2008 - 5:24 PMmaybe because this has proven to be a fun fest to play at....its still young(is this the 3rd or 4th one?) and all have seemed to be tons of fun for all involved. Maybe you dont agree with the times....but its a festival .....thats how it goes homey!
plus.....is a chance to visit one of the most beautiful paces in the US a bad thing?????? -

Exactly. All that, and New Monsoon? Yeah.
I, too, wish the times were better. But, hey. -

Mon, May 12, 2008 - 4:50 PMIt is an incredibly fun festival in a beautiful place! I'd say it is worth that one set for most of the bands I went to the festival with last year! I wish I could go back this year! -

Re: Moab??
Tue, May 13, 2008 - 1:04 AMAny time in Moab is a good time...even in the middle of July. Yeah...it is hot, but it has to be one of the most beautiful places I've been. There is so much to see, so much to consider and such awe to beheld that I'd go to Moab just for the hell of it.
You've got 2 National Parks and a Historical State Park within 30 minutes from the town.

utah.com/nationalparks/arches.htm
www.utah.com/stateparks/dead_horse.htm
Top it off with a set from the boys at 1:45 in the AM after exploring Utah's magnificence...who could ask for more?
I won't be making this show, but I will be at GAMH only 5 days later...looking forward to it. : )
