Hello Friends, Family, Monsooniacs,
I am so excited to get back on-stage here in our hometown San Francisco! Last weekend we had an incredible 2 night re-entry back into the performance world in Seattle. Thank you Leo for your incredible hospitality! We all scream for eyes cream!
So, as you all may have heard, this Saturday April 11th we are performing at the Independent in San Francisco. After several much needed months of rest and creative re-charge, we are ready to take to the stage in support of our latest official release "New Monsoon Live" which will be available for the first time at the show. I'm really proud of this double-live album, recorded over three incredible nights in Austin, Dallas and Houston Texas. Over the years we have traveled through the Lonestar State and have made some of the most enduring friends and fans. The shows were played literally the week after Hurricane Ike hit.. Houston being the final show of the three and the first show at the Warehouse since the storm hit. We felt so fortunate for the show to have gone on and we were able to capture the performance.
That being said, we are fortunate to still be playing music together and bringing it on home to one of our favorite stomping grounds The Indy this weekend.
Hopefully everyone that reads this will make it out to the show and get a cd fresh off the slicer!
